Gig Badilla vs Fidel Cantos

Boxing Daily Report from the Bani Promotions promoted show at Diego Jarquin Gym, Barranquilla,  taking place on 15/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Badilla (10 - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Fidel Cantos(8 - 6 - 2) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Badilla weighed in at 210 pounds, while Cantos weighed in at 236 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Arquilla, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Rayos, Carlos Montealegre and Juan Villalobos.  

Round 1: 

Badilla switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.
