Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman promoted show at New York City Bickett, New York City,  taking place on 08/06/2024:

Clearly Magicman have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Arnie Aitkens (1 - 0) who hails from Gainesville, USA and Fraser Dorward(2 - 0) from Baltimore, USA.  Aitkens weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces, while Dorward weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gethin Ranieri, and the three ringside judges are Cristiano Grimaldi, Mel Giorgetti and John Peavey.

Aitkens steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Aitkens.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Dorward throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Dorward's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
