Mark Cooper vs Clint Akins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Calgary Usher, Calgary,  taking place on 16/06/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-Alberta Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Cooper (8 - 0) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Clint Akins(13 - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Cooper weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Akins weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Haddow, and the three ringside judges are Tyson Bart, Connor Bonnie and Chris Bach.
