Igor Cilvecinsh vs Akseli Tokoi

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Latvia Gym, Riga,  taking place on 01/06/2024:

Clearly Latvia Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Igor Cilvecinsh (6 - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Akseli Tokoi(4 - 10 - 2) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Cilvecinsh and Tokoi weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Viktor Gargailis, and the three ringside judges are Valeri Akitis, Ivan Prusis and Koldan Mazbralis.  

Round 1: 

Cilvecinsh is looking to close the distance and lands two right uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cilvecinsh lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Cilvecinsh is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Cilvecinsh lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cilvecinsh lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cilvecinsh connects with a left hook.  
Cilvecinsh lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cilvecinsh steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cilvecinsh steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to Tokoi's liver.  
Tokoi tries to land a left hook, but Cilvecinsh sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tokoi tries to keep the action at long range.  Cilvecinsh lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Cilvecinsh advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Cilvecinsh steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Cilvecinsh pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cilvecinsh finds the target with a jab.  
Cilvecinsh sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cilvecinsh lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Cilvecinsh clinches his opponent.  Cilvecinsh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cilvecinsh pushes his forearm into Tokoi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cilvecinsh to stop fouling.  
Cilvecinsh advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Cilvecinsh is looking to close the distance.  Cilvecinsh is on target with a right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tokoi dabs at his face checking for damage.  Tokoi has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Cilvecinsh gets on the inside and lands a left hook.
