Obaid Abotomey vs Waqar Khalil

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Aftab Fahmy Gym, Cairo,  taking place on 17/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Cairo Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Obaid Abotomey (8 - 9 - 3) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Waqar Khalil(8 - 2) from Cairo, Egypt.  Both Abotomey and Khalil weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Kassas, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Ammar, Amer Deen and Mohsin Masood.  

Round 1: 

Khalil lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Khalil is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.
