Waqas Elmahdi vs Amer Al-Awa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Giza promoted show at Ahmed Rahaman Gym, Giza,  taking place on 17/06/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqas Elmahdi (7 - 3 - 4) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Amer Al-Awa(6 - 0) from Giza, Egypt.  Elmahdi weighed in at 147 pounds, while Al-Awa weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amer Racid, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Samir, Haaris Farran and Umair Khaleel.
