Berto Machin vs Diego Barriga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Reynosa Batres, Reynosa,  taking place on 17/06/2024:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Machin (13 - 1) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Diego Barriga(6 - 8) from Reynosa, Mexico.  Machin weighed in at 117 pounds, while Barriga weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Senor, and the three ringside judges are Diego Toro, Edmundo Tierno and Carlos Armando.
