Jawad Sharif vs John Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Exchange Auditorium Manchester Central, Manchester,  taking place on 15/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jawad Sharif (7 - 0) who hails from Hull, UK and John Connolly(2 - 5 - 1) from Manchester, UK.  Sharif weighed in at 130 pounds, while Connolly weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Bevans, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Baldy, Louis Atkins and Aftab Bilal.  

Round 1: 

Connolly steps inside.  Sharif pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
