Jeremy Egerton vs Leo Rielly

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Exchange Auditorium Manchester Central, Manchester,  taking place on 15/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jeremy Egerton (9(1) - 0) who hails from Manchester, UK and Leo Rielly(5 - 6) from London, UK.  Egerton weighed in at 121 pounds And 13 ounces, while Rielly weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Bevans, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Baldy, Louis Atkins and Aftab Bilal.  

Round 1: 

Egerton is looking to close the distance.  Egerton pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Rielly throws a left hook, but Egerton clinches his opponent.  Egerton pushes his forearm into Rielly's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Egerton to stop fouling.

Egerton is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Egerton lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Rielly hits home with a cross.  Rielly tries to land a jab, but Egerton blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Egerton advances into close range and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Egerton walks Rielly down, trapping him in a corner.  Egerton pivots to the side of his opponent.  Rielly drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Egerton closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Egerton ties up his opponent.  Egerton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Egerton and breaks the clinch.  
Egerton manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Egerton lands a left hook.

Egerton pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As Rielly tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Egerton dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Egerton advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Egerton lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Egerton is looking to close the distance.  Egerton pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.
