Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Gage Herard Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 31/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Odilon Mendy (2 - 0) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Romain Tasso(0 - 2 - 2) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Mendy and Tasso weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Royal Ankah, and the three ringside judges are Newell Nodine, Thibaud Ly and Laurent Courtellemont.  

Round 1: 

Mendy gets on the inside.  Mendy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tasso is on target with a left hook.

Mendy gets on the inside.  Mendy leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Tasso tries to tag Mendy on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Mendy lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Mendy lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
