Sid Cadwallader vs Alec Fabela

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Stramler Park, Bakersfield,  taking place on 25/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sid Cadwallader (4 - 0) who hails from Riverside, USA and Alec Fabela(5 - 6 - 2) from Jersey City, USA.  Both Cadwallader and Fabela weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Flockhart, and the three ringside judges are Felix Gibson, Peter Ardis and Adam Moreno.  

Round 1: 

Cadwallader connects with a left hook.  
Cadwallader connects with a right uppercut.

Fabela attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Cadwallader time to recover.

Cadwallader gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Fabela parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Fabela switches the action to the outside.  Cadwallader attempts to land a jab, but Fabela sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
