Davie Duffy vs Michael Polland

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Stramler Park, Bakersfield,  taking place on 25/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Davie Snuffy Duffy (4 - 0) who hails from Omaha, USA and Michael Polland(1 - 7 - 1) from Jacksonville, USA.  Duffy weighed in at 226 pounds and 14 ounces, while Polland weighed in at 255 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Ardis, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Flockhart, Felix Gibson and Adam Moreno.

You can sense Polland is getting frustrated in there.   He steps inside, but then strikes Duffy with a blatant low blow!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!
