Rico Malgieri vs Antonio Schirru

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lazio promoted show at Rome Okaka, Rome,  taking place on 21/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Lazio Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Malgieri (7 - 4 - 6) who hails from Rome, Italy and Antonio Schirru(8 - 7) from Rome, Italy.  Malgieri weighed in at 114 pounds And 15 ounces, while Schirru weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adolfo Crocetta, and the three ringside judges are Nico Alberici, Silvano Viani and Tino Fiori.
