Vico Lisi vs Paul Boyle

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 08/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vico Lisi (5 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Paul Boyle(3 - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Lisi and Boyle weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen MacDougall, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Kamali, Gethin Mitchell and Mark McBride.  

Round 1: 

Boyle steps inside.  Lisi lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Lisi clinches his opponent.  Lisi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lisi to stop fouling.
