Nao Akagi vs Hideki Gima

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Jiro Seki Gym, Yokohama,  taking place on 22/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Akagi (13(2) - 1) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Hideki Gima(6 - 10(1) - 3) from Kawasaki, Japan.  Akagi weighed in at 135 pounds, while Gima weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Iwasaki, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Uchida, Taro Ike and Daiki Takayama.
