Ali Abolhassan vs Zuffur Touma

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Azam Malick Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 09/06/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ali Abolhassan (1 - 0) who hails from Abu Dhabi, UAE and Zuffur Touma(1 - 10 - 4) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Abolhassan and Touma weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ali Ayub, and the three ringside judges are Syed Aman, Imran Hasnawi and Syed Gazal.  

Round 1: 

Touma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abolhassan is on target with a jab.  
Abolhassan is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  Abolhassan wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Touma dabs at his face checking for damage.

Touma is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Touma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abolhassan hits home with an overhand right.  
Touma switches the action to the outside.  Abolhassan snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Abolhassan gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Abolhassan is on target with a left uppercut to Touma's body.  
Abolhassan steps inside.  Abolhassan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Touma manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Touma tries to land a cross, but Abolhassan parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abolhassan closes the distance and manages to force Touma into a neutral corner.  Abolhassan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Touma's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
