Spencer Primrose vs Brandon McGowan

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at Crown Perth, Perth,  taking place on 19/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Spencer Flower King Primrose (6 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Brandon McGowan(3 - 3 - 4) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Primrose and McGowan weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ben Banis, and the three ringside judges are Dave McPherson, Daniel Norman and Vince Kelty.  

Round 1: 

McGowan throws a left uppercut, but Primrose ties up his opponent.  Primrose pushes his forearm into McGowan's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McGowan throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Primrose holds on to his opponent.  McGowan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Primrose's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McGowan about fouling.

Primrose closes the distance and manages to force McGowan onto the ropes.  Primrose digs in a solid right uppercut to McGowan's ribcage.  Primrose holds on to his opponent.  Primrose leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
