Adnan Sendid vs Jaqub Soussi

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Le Méridien Oran Hotel & Convention Centre, Oran,  taking place on 05/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Northern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal Algérie, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Adnan Sendid (14(10) - 0) who hails from Constantine, Algeria and Jaqub Soussi(13 - 2(2)) from Tangier, Morocco.  Both Sendid and Soussi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ali Khencheli, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Djouad, Obaid Selmi and Rehan Tobbal.

Soussi throws a right hook, but Sendid clinches his opponent.  Sendid leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sendid throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Soussi throws a left hook, but Sendid holds on to his opponent.  Soussi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sendid behind the head. 
Sendid is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Soussi lands a right hook.  Soussi tries to land a right hook, but Sendid sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Soussi's body.  
Sendid hits home with a firm right hook.  
Sendid is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Soussi manouvers Sendid onto the ropes.  Sendid is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Soussi's body.

Soussi manages to force Sendid onto the ropes.  Sendid connects with a nasty right hook.  SOUSSI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Sendid EXPLODES a FIERCE left hook into his opponents face.  SOUSSI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Sendid!
