John McFarlane vs Joel Boner

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Ellis McGuire Gym, Columbus,  taking place on 13/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are John McFarlane (1 - 0) who hails from Rockford, USA and Joel Boner(1 - 1 - 1) from Centennial, USA.  Both McFarlane and Boner weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Spencer Tighe, and the three ringside judges are Dom Forbush, Mark Cato and Paul Strassman.  

Round 1: 

Boner tries to land a jab, but McFarlane slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
McFarlane walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McFarlane pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
McFarlane pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.
