Sagaz Marroquin vs Miguel Picon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Lima Garcia, Lima,  taking place on 28/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Peru-Lima Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sagaz Marroquin (6 - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Miguel Picon(5 - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Marroquin weighed in at 147 pounds, while Picon weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Jiron, and the three ringside judges are Orlando Blando, Pedro Capellan and Enzo Pinero.
