Christofer Pirkl vs William Petzke

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-East promoted show at Winterthur Bladow, Winterthur,  taking place on 01/07/2024:

Clearly AI Switzerland-East have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland-East Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Christofer Pirkl (2 - 1 - 1) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and William Petzke(3 - 7 - 3) from Bern, Switzerland.  Both Pirkl and Petzke weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Koltin Strevel, and the three ringside judges are Wilfredo Aggen, Stan Gfeller and Walten Gergel.  

Round 1: 

Pirkl is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Petzke's body.

Petzke attempts to land a cross, but Pirkl blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Pirkl closes the distance.  Pirkl sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Petzke's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Petzke's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Petzke uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pirkl's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Pirkl gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Pirkl clinches his opponent.  Pirkl is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Petzke pushes his forearm into Pirkl's face.  The referee warns Petzke and breaks the clinch.
