Mikayil Kazemi vs Vasif Zaidi

Boxing Daily Report from the Zungu Promotions promoted show at Isaak Kadyrov Gym, Samarqand,  taking place on 02/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uzbekistan-Samarqand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikayil Kazemi (10 - 3 - 5) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Vasif Zaidi(9 - 7 - 1) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Kazemi weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces, while Zaidi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Niyazi Sarah, and the three ringside judges are Viktor Kosaeff, Seyfulla Aliev and Sergey Sadygov.
