Tim Reece vs William Bryce

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Kings Hall, Belfast,  taking place on 01/07/2024:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Tim Reece (7 - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Bradford, UK and William Bryce(3 - 3 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Reece and Bryce weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Sheridan, and the three ringside judges are James McAfee, Eoin McPhee and Anthony McCabe.  

Round 1: 

Bryce is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Reece lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Reece gets on the inside.  Bryce throws a right hook, but Reece ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bryce pushes his forearm into Reece's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bryce to stop fouling.  
Bryce switches the action to the outside.  Reece hits home with a cross.  
Reece is on target with a left hook.  
Reece advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Reece advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Reece clinches his opponent.  Reece pushes his forearm into Bryce's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Reece about fouling.  
Bryce throws a right hook, but Reece clinches his opponent.  Reece pushes his forearm into Bryce's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Reece to stop fouling.  
Bryce pivots to the right of his opponent.  Reece lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Reece forces Bryce to retreat into the corner.  Reece sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Reece lands a right hook.  Reece ties up his opponent.  Reece leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Reece lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Reece lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Reece pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Reece connects with a firm left hook.  
Reece connects with a firm right uppercut.  Reece holds on to his opponent.  Reece leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bryce's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Bryce's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Reece gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Bryce tries to keep the action at long range.  Reece connects with a solid cross.  
Reece manages to force Bryce onto the ropes.  Reece lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Reece clinches his opponent.  Reece throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Reece lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Reece lands a right uppercut.  
Bryce wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Reece dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Reece.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Reece connects with a solid left hook.  
Reece lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Reece hits home with a firm right hook.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bryce's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bryce's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
