Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Arubi, Bulawayo,  taking place on 03/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vashon Chipendo (13 - 0) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ubanwa Chimbetu(7(1) - 4) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Chipendo weighed in at 200 pounds, while Chimbetu weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kaleb Muzanenhamo, and the three ringside judges are Jack Shamuyarira, George Chimutengwende and Matt Quilliam.
