Juan Montemayor vs Juan Valencia

Boxing Daily Report from the Kirya Promotions promoted show at Ciudad Bolivar Encarnacion, Ciudad Bolivar,  taking place on 02/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Montemayor (13 - 1) who hails from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela and Juan Valencia(11 - 2) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Both Montemayor and Valencia weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Borrego, and the three ringside judges are Sierra Alanis, Alejandro Labrada and Selestino Borrego.
