Abdul Wassan vs Shayan Diab

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 27/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Abdul Wassan (6 - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Shayan Diab(3 - 5) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Wassan and Diab weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Sinai, and the three ringside judges are Amjad Ebrahimi, Waqar Sabir and Ibrahim Mohammed.  

Round 1: 

Diab is looking to close the distance.  Wassan lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
