Hikaru Katayama vs Mitsuru Maita

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Mitsui Garden Hotel, Chiba,  taking place on 13/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hikaru Katayama (6 - 0) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Mitsuru Maita(1 - 3 - 1) from Kawasaki, Japan.  Both Katayama and Maita weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mikio Kawai, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Nakahara, Kaede Ishimoto and Jiro Tobe.
