Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 27/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Waqar Rahaim (2 - 0) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Nakula Badawi(1 - 1 - 1) from Depok, Indonesia.  Both Rahaim and Badawi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Sinai, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Sabir, Amjad Ebrahimi and Ibrahim Mohammed.  

Round 1: 

Badawi attempts to land a cross, but Rahaim blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Badawi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Rahaim is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rahaim.

Badawi pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Rahaim feints a left hook, but Badawi is not fooled and responds with a left uppercut.  
Rahaim lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rahaim switches the action to the outside.  Rahaim feints a right hook, and then is on target with an overhand right.  
Badawi tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
