Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 22/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ollie Davies (7 - 0) who hails from Reno, USA and Leeroy Kay(3 - 4 - 1) from Hartford, USA.  Davies weighed in at 238 pounds And 12 ounces, while Kay weighed in at 236 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Celestino, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hesson, Stuart Ferrera and Joel Abraham.  

Round 1: 

Davies hits the target with a hard jab.

Davies steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Davies dabs at his face checking for damage.  Davies has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Kay attempts to land a left hook, but Davies parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
