Marin Arambašic vs Leo Cappaert

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Alojz Cirjak Gym, Zagreb,  taking place on 10/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marin Arambašic (6(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Leo Cappaert(4 - 12 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Both Arambašic and Cappaert weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeronim Rajic, and the three ringside judges are Danko Žic, Miloš Stipetic and Miro Bartolic.  

Round 1: 

Arambašic gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Arambašic lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Arambašic pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Cappaert lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Arambašic lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Arambašic gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Cappaert's body.  
Arambašic lands with a sharp jab.  
Arambašic closes the distance.  Arambašic pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Cappaert's body.  
Arambašic lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Arambašic is on target with a left hook to Cappaert's body.  
Arambašic advances into close range.  Cappaert throws a right hook, but Arambašic ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Arambašic pushes his forearm into Cappaert's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arambašic about fouling.  
Arambašic lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Arambašic is on target with a left hook to Cappaert's body.
