Peter Linen vs Stephen Watson

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 03/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Linen (12 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Stephen Watson(5 - 2 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Linen weighed in at 154 pounds, while Watson weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Feamster, and the three ringside judges are Seth Urbano, John Taggart and Mark Taggert.  

Round 1: 

Linen feints a left hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
