Michael Kathrada vs Wayne Mkondo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Chitungwiza Matonga, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 13/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Kathrada (9 - 5 - 1) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Wayne Mkondo(12 - 2) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Kathrada and Mkondo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Mubako, and the three ringside judges are Chris Tholet, Steven Joubert and James Mupariwa.
