Imran Khar vs Gareth Mbiyu

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Imran Khar (14 - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Gareth Mbiyu(14 - 2) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Khar weighed in at 167 pounds And 14 ounces, while Mbiyu weighed in at 167 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Billy Tumbo, and the three ringside judges are Rich Ashira, Noah Odoyo and Yobachi Rubia.
