Haaris Hassen vs Paul Naikuni

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Scotland promoted show at Radisson Hotel, Glasgow,  taking place on 13/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Hassen (12(6) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Paul Naikuni(10 - 2(1)) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Hassen and Naikuni weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ed McPhatter, and the three ringside judges are Peter McAlister, John McVicker and Charlie MacNeal.
