Shen Tien vs Tajo Colindres

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kotla Vijay Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad,  taking place on 09/08/2024:

Clearly Bos Firefighters have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Intercontinental Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shen Tien (10(8) - 1) who hails from Dalian, China and Tajo Colindres(9 - 7(4)) from Houston, USA.  Both Tien and Colindres weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chandrasekar Kalla, and the three ringside judges are Azam Naqvi, Kishore Karnik and Akil Yohannan.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tien's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Colindres's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Colindres's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Colindres's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Tien tries to step out of his opponents range.  Colindres throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Tien tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Colindres recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Colindres throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a big right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE COLINDRES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Tien is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tien sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Tien lands two left uppercuts followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Colindres now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Tien steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS COLINDRES TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Colindres almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tien tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Colindres almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tien connects with a left hook.  
Tien lands a ramrod jab.  
Tien closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS COLINDRES TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Tien!
