Gus Scheiderer vs Bert Kurth

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kern Center Ice Arena, Milwaukee,  taking place on 08/08/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Scheiderer (7(1) - 0) who hails from Columbus, USA and Bert Kurth(9 - 5(1) - 1) from Winterthur, Switzerland.  Both Scheiderer and Kurth weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Picard, and the three ringside judges are Chris Bobet, Sid MacLaine and Imran Ansari.  

Round 1: 

Kurth sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Scheiderer digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.
