Louis Muepu vs Sam Porter

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 02/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SuperSport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Louis Muepu (15 - 0) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Sam Porter(17 - 0 - 2) from Ottawa, Canada.  Both Muepu and Porter weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Motupa, and the three ringside judges are Here Van Heerden, John Nzambi and Arali Kessels.
