Oro Castillon vs Sergeant Bayne

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kern Center Ice Arena, Milwaukee,  taking place on 08/08/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oro Castillon (16(7) - 0) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Sergeant Bayne(7 - 5(3) - 5) from Douala, Cameroon.  Castillon weighed in at 153 pounds And 9 ounces, while Bayne weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid MacLaine, and the three ringside judges are Chris Bobet, Sean Picard and Imran Ansari.  

Round 1: 

Castillon lands a jab.

Castillon sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Castillon lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, KNOCKING BAYNE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Bayne now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Bayne is looking to close the distance.  Castillon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Castillon holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Castillon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Bayne gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Castillon throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Castillon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Castillon pushes his forearm into Bayne's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Castillon lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Castillon holds on to his opponent.  Castillon pushes his forearm into Bayne's face.  The referee warns Castillon and breaks the clinch.  
Castillon SLAMS a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAYNE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bayne almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Castillon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Castillon tries to land a jab, but Bayne slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Castillon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bayne's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Castillon senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bayne and just needs the right shot.  Castillon lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  It looks like Bayne has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Castillon steps to the outside and connects with a BRUTAL overhand left.  BAYNE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Castillon!
