Michael Abernethy vs Juan Vicario

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Xfinity Theater, Hartford,  taking place on 19/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Americas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Abernethy (15(8) - 0) who hails from Jackson, USA and Juan Vicario(14(1) - 2) from Choloma, Honduras.  Abernethy weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Vicario weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Blaney, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Gunion, Ian Cragg and Hayden Blacketer.
