Paul Ngassi vs Mahdi Chindungwe

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Orlando Community Hall, Johannesburg,  taking place on 04/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Paul Ngassi (4 - 0) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Mahdi Chindungwe(5 - 9 - 2) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Ngassi and Chindungwe weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Nzambi, and the three ringside judges are Michael Karabaja, Simba Bariagher and Johnny Kamalebo.  

Round 1: 

Chindungwe lands a cross.
