Jamar Phiri vs Dave Dewornu

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Popcocks Indoor Sports Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 27/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamar Phiri (13 - 3) who hails from Khayelitsha, South Africa and Dave Dewornu(13 - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Phiri and Dewornu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ubanwa Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Motupa, Michael Grobbelaar and Tshepo Dikgacoi.
