Bellamy Abossolombo vs Merrill Assale

Boxing Daily Report from the Mulia Promotions promoted show at Maroua Njawe, Maroua,  taking place on 16/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bellamy Abossolombo (14(2) - 2(1)) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Merrill Assale(7 - 7 - 3) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Abossolombo and Assale weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marc Jean, and the three ringside judges are Albain Nguekam, Tyson Mang and Fernand Beaumarchais.  

Round 1: 

Abossolombo advances into close range.  Abossolombo pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.
