Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 08/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Corey Kelly (5 - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Alastair Watkins(1 - 3 - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Kelly weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces, while Watkins weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Kamali, and the three ringside judges are Gethin Mitchell, Stephen MacDougall and Mark McBride.

Kelly tries to keep the action at long range.  Kelly feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Watkins.  Kelly avoids the shot and counters with a cross.
