Brad Eidson vs Matt Ritchey

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 03/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brad Eidson (7 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Matt Ritchey(13 - 4) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Eidson and Ritchey weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Feamster, and the three ringside judges are Seth Urbano, John Taggart and Mark Taggert.  

Round 1: 

Ritchey is on target with a left hook.  Eidson clinches his opponent.  Eidson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Eidson about fouling.
