Selestino Gomez vs Cortez Montiel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Pesina, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 18/07/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Selestino Gomez (4 - 2) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Cortez Montiel(6 - 0) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Both Gomez and Montiel weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ora Zaragosa, and the three ringside judges are Guido Campa, Alejandro Sala and Guido Campa.
