Vegas Gomez vs Ricardo Velarde

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Masaya promoted show at Masaya Echevarria, Masaya,  taking place on 18/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vegas Gomez (4 - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Ricardo Velarde(5 - 1 - 1) from Masaya, Nicaragua.  Gomez weighed in at 154 pounds, while Velarde weighed in at 153 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Olivar, and the three ringside judges are Paco Don, Jose Alvarado and Gervasio Otero.
