Phornello Kakuwa vs Tamarius Mayaba

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Edwin Imboela Stadium, Lusaka,  taking place on 27/07/2024:

Clearly Kit Henderson have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zambia-Lusaka Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Phornello Kakuwa (8 - 5) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Tamarius Mayaba(10 - 6) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Kakuwa weighed in at 241 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mayaba weighed in at 238 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rashon Mwanawasa, and the three ringside judges are Kyrone Chibiya, Mashawn Nkandu and Nwa Hamabilo.
