Alejandro Melchior vs Angel Leano

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Córdoba Parco, Córdoba,  taking place on 29/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Argentina-Córdoba Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Melchior (11 - 2) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Angel Leano(12 - 3 - 2) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Melchior weighed in at 147 pounds, while Leano weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Grande, and the three ringside judges are Aimon Banales, Ramiro Candela and Juan Plasencia.
