Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Dom Kennedy Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Alessandro Parola (0 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Andy Rodi(0 - 4) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Parola and Rodi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Suit, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Nicolaides, Alastair MacIntyre and Brendan Stronach.  

Round 1: 

Parola lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Parola tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rodi behind the head. Parola leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Rodi connects with a cross.  
Parola lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Parola sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Parola hits home with a left hook.  
Parola attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Rodi time to recover.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rodi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Parola steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Parola digs in a right hook to Rodi's ribcage.  
Rodi lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Rodi hits home with a left uppercut.
