Bergen Stingle vs Baldric Maurer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Saxony promoted show at Jaye Daun Gym, Leipzig,  taking place on 20/07/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Saxony Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bergen Stingle (11(2) - 2) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and Baldric Maurer(6 - 2 - 1) from Leipzig, Germany.  Both Stingle and Maurer weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jaecar Striegel, and the three ringside judges are Jaecar Striegel, Lukas Gehman and Hobbard Schreiber.  

Round 1: 

Stingle advances into close range.  Maurer throws a left hook, but Stingle ties up his opponent.  Stingle pushes his forearm into Maurer's face.  The referee warns Stingle and breaks the clinch.  
Stingle lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Stingle advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Stingle clinches his opponent.  Stingle hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Stingle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Stingle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Maurer tries to keep the action at long range.  Stingle knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Stingle lands a BRUTAL left hook.  MAURER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MAURER CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Stingle!
